A little update :)

I'm pleased to let you know that the blanket i made for Roy has been passed on :)
Unfortunately i didn't see him this week as it was too cold for him his son-in law popped in to inform me he was toasting his tootsies in front of the fire awww bless.
so i handed him the blanket to give to him :)
He thought he may be pop in next week but i very much doubt it with the weather we've been blessed with overnight .... We're snowed in !! The roads are terrible it's a jaunt to get off the estate let alone try and reach the main road which arn't all that much better...
I would have loved to share a pic with you but thought you'd like a update regardless, as i can't see us having one this side of Christmas at the moment.
To all his family a very merry christmas xxx
Another beautiful thing took place last Sunday a lovely lady on Rav was having a destash and wanted her stash to go to someone to helped make things for Charity so i mentioned that i make squares for Sibol and recently let's make a gift of a healing blanket, so she kindly passed a bag full on to me.
Inside are many many different colours so i will be busy for the year :) transforming it all into squares for both .
I thought i might pass on the whole balls if that's ok Deesis as i know it takes roughly 1 100g ball to assemble them which would be fabulous also xxx
Take care each and every one of you and thank's for stopping by and saying hello xxxx

One last thing a pic i'd like to share of the Clic sargent charity day at work i made a jessie from toy story sort of costume hehe all monies donated from the day and throughout the year will go to the charity xxx

  1. I'm sure that Roy will be touched and "warm" with the blanket. I'm sure if you do not get to see him you will get word of his appreciation. Good to get the extra yarn for SIBOL squares. Good for you! Thanks for visiting me and have a fantastic weekend!

  4. Manda, I am sure he is sitting under it thinking what an angel he met...
I read about the snow you got today, in the newspapers and hope you can get out soon, before what we overhere call "cabin fever" hits. Have a warm, cosy weekend and take care. :)
