Granny's Granny's Everywhere!!

Granny's Granny's Everywhere, and not one of them for me hehe!!

First of all we'll kick off with the latest appeal for Granny square's for the victim's of the devestation of the Australian Flood's :( Many have lost their home's as flood waters rampaged through their town's destroying everything in its path, Sarah London has kindly requested that we can all help bring a smile to those affected by distributing rainbow blankets :0)
Her request is simple and one that everyone can take part in,
Using a 4mm hook and DK yarn (8ply) or similar crochet 5 basic round's in scrummy rainbow colour's and pop them in the post to her so that she can assemble them into blanket's and get them to the people that need them.

Did you all notice my new button up on the left! Clcik that my lovelie's and all will become crystal clear on how you can help xxxx
So far i have made 8 and aim to make another 8 before popping in the post  so here they are so far xx

So quick and fun combining different colourway's :)
Next i'll move on to another charity group called " let's make a gift of a healing blanket" over on Ravelry donation squares of 5"x5" are required to help make up blankets and given to people seriously ill, which with a gift of a blanket helps bring comfort during their difficult time xxxx i sent a set of last year and forgot to snap them doh but here's the set i'm sending this time.....

That dark colour is navy it doesn't show too well, i made a white one to see what it would look like?i quite like it so i think i'll make a few more before sending them of in the post :)
And lastly i made 4 6" squares for the granny square swap again on Ravelry hehe my partners colour choices were Purple and ...... now that will be giving it away so i'll keep quiet for now hehe
Heres what i came up with .....

I made the pattern up, i like's playing at the moment hehe an adaption of my popping flowers design,
can you see how i changed it slightly to send the 5" squares hehe oh what fun, oh i love working with flowers :)
So that's what i've been up to this week, hope you had fun on my journey with my hook xxxx

I also mentioned before my prize draw how i'd won a couple of blog award's didn't i....so let's see them

Now i don't know about you but i'm hopeless thinking up fun fact's
but in order to recieve these these awards i'll think of a few so here goes :
I hate liar's grrr
I believe that no matter how bad thing's are, there's always someone out there in a much worse position so smile and carry on even if inside you're crumbling :0)
I like to treat people how i'd like to be treated myself,
i have a terrible memory where birthday's are concerned whoop's xx
I'm a virgo ~~ yes i strife to do my best in everything

how's that? good enough haha
now i had to thank the people who gave me awards~~ naturally i did that ages ago without even knowing it exisited haha
And lastly i have to pass it along? so if you'd like one copy paste it into you're pics and voila .I can't possibly choose individually cause you're all fabulous so have one on me xxx

Have a fantastic weekend and stay warm and safe much love Amanda xxxx
